Analysts such as Gartner reveal that IT spending is no longer only the remit of the IT department. In fact, the majority of IT procurement takes place in business departments such as HR, marketing, finance, customer service, legal, product development and sales – where all members of the c-suite play a role in driving the digital transformation agendas of their departments, and broader organisation.

Digital Nation Live 2023: Digital as Usual, will incorporate a digital report, unpacking the impact of digital technologies on Australian business, in departments outside of IT.

We will launch this report in an exclusive breakfast event at a Sydney CBD location on Tuesday 30th of May.

Cybersecurity does not only fall under the remit of the security team it requires a whole of business approach when managed effectively.

In March 2024 Digital Nation launched its Digital As Usual Cybersecurity report  focused on evolving approaches to security, cyber accountability and communicating risk. Following the great success of this event, we will be bringing Digital As Usual Cybersecurity to Melbourne in May and Brisbane in September 2024.

This Digital As Usual event brings together security leaders, c-level executives and board directors from a cross-section of Australian business to explore the strategies they can utilise to better work together, in order to drive effective cyber programs.
